About a quarter of the Visitor
Tax revenues will be used to improve and revitalize the
much-beloved Municipal Auditorium as a world-class performing
arts center, to establish the region’s first Western
Art Museum, and to renovate the Alameda Theater, which
will help ensure the continued growth and success of
our symphony, opera and other performing and cultural
arts organizations.
These additions to our community
will provide educational and enrichment opportunities
for our community and our children for years to come.
May 10th will be an opportunity for the people of San Antonio
and Bexar County to prove once again they know the power
of the word YES, for the sake of our community and our kids.
