The Facts | San Antonio River improvements

$125 million of the Visitor Tax revenues will be devoted to expansion and improvement of 13 miles of the San Antonio River and our world-famous river walk.  The river projects will restore the natural ecosystem, provide miles of bike and hike trails, and connect the river to the historic missions.  When other cities consider developing natural features into attractive destinations for residents and visitors, they inevitably point to San Antonio. Extending the Visitor Tax will allow us to enhance one of San Antonio’s landmark features and make our community connections even stronger.
